By now you’ve probably seen the September Paper Pumpkin Kit Video. Am I right? But wait, there’s more! The folks at Stampin’ Up!s Paper Pumpkin division decided to give us something good to eat and more in the form of a new video. Yay!
First, I’m sharing a bonus project we’ll make at this month’s Paper Pumpkinhead’s Gathering.
Paper Pumpkin September 2016 Bonus Project
These little test tube treats are super cute but how do you present them? These test-tube treat holders are super easy to make and Splitcoast Stampers has a tutorial ready to go! One sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 card stock will make two of these sweeties.
You can even make a double or triple holder.
Here’s a view of my Trick or Treat holder without the tube inserted.
Now for the new video! Not into Halloween and all it’s spookiness? Check out these alternate projects for the September 2016 “Something Good To Eat” Paper Pumpkin Kit. I’ll have more to share later in the Paper Pumpkin Patch on Facebook.
Just like Cary says in the video, it’s not too late to get these supplies but you MUST be a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber before they sell out.
Smudge and Grunge the background before embossing. Using a Stamping Sponge wedge, apply Mint Macaron Classic Ink to create a base. Fill in with the darker Emerald Envy. Gorgeous Grunge speckles are stamped with Mint Macaron. While you have your sponge dirty, ink up the edges with Emerald Envy.
Emboss with Pine Bough TIEF and watch the magic happen. Smudge the raised areas again with Emerald Envy. Now for the punch. Use a Fine-Tip Glue Pen to “draw” glue lies over the raised pine boughs. Let dry completely. Instant pop!
Detail by adding a few white sequins to resemble falling snow. Add three wraps of Linen Thread and a sentiment and you’ve just experienced the simple joys of creating your own masterpiece.
Use any brand of product to create your card or papercraft project.
Your entry should be new and inspired (totally or partially) by this challenge.
